Porsche Business Excellence (PBE)
I worked with Brambourne on their visit to Porsche Centre Vilniius (Lithuania) for the Porsche Business Excellence project.
The team were very open to all types of questions, engaging in all discussions with the aim to understand the roots of the concern as well as bringing on topics that needed additional focus. They created an open and friendly atmosphere which helped to discuss even more sensitive topics. I’d like to highlight the following three areas that supported the project:
Experienced: extensive and versatile experience in the automotive sector helped to increase trust in the ides, suggestions we got for potential improvements.
Data driven & creative: the phrase that “the General Manager is a scientist (need for data) and creator” reminded us and underlined the importance of measuring business metrics.
Encouraging: bold actions in changes and improvements are a must. We don’t need to be perfect to 100% from day one, but ensuring achievable yet challenging improvements kept the team engaged.
Also important to mention that after the Brambourne visit, we implemented a few processes that were pending for years, and I would give credit to the inspiration I got from the team on this project.
Showroom traffic control and analysis process allowed us to measure conversion (traffic to sales) rate, based on which we now have set targets for marketing and have quite a clear picture of what is happening in the showroom.
Customer payment process helped to decrease aftersales customer debtors by 60%. Apart from the risk minimisation of not getting payment, we gained time for service advisors to concentrate on customer needs instead of debts.
These processes are just a few examples, as I feel a long-lasting effect after that first coaching week.
I would recommend to every business who wants to get fresh insights, inspiration to make changes and stay on an improvement path. He was fundamental in increasing sales in a number of our dealerships as a direct result in producing a Lost Lead Program.
